Accommodation :
Hotel Seaweed offers excellent facilities that is bound to satisfy every guest. There are 40 double rooms mostly sea facing, all with en-suite facilities. A choice of A/C and non A/C rooms are available. The cost of the rooms vary from Rs.600/- to Rs.1200/- plus 7.5% tax for non A/C rooms and Rs.1200/- to Rs.1400/- plus 15% tax for A/C rooms. During the peak season (15 December to 15 January) an extra cost of Rs.100/- will be charged per room and an off season discount of 20% on room rent will apply during 1st May to 30th September.

Hotel Seaweed's roof top restaurant has a wide range of selection covering Indian, Chinese and Continental specialties. The restaurant provides a splendid view of the lighthouse and the beach. The menu is mostly continental a-la-carte, with a wide variety of choice. Special menu will be prepared on order.

Hotel Seaweed is situated near the Lighthouse beach, away from the madness of the busy, on a small hillock overlooking the beach. Amongst the three crescent shaped beaches of Kovalam, the Lighthouse beach is the most popular. The shark free warm sea fringed by swaying palms, soft sandy beach with its myriad shades of gold, white and grey are all undeniable temptations to the lover of sun and sand. The hotel is approximately 14 kms from Trivandrum international airport and about 16 kms from Trivandrum central railway station. You can reach the hotel from the airport or the railway station by either taking a taxi or a local bus. The hotel will be happy to arrange pickup from the airport or railway station if necessary, on prior notification. Trivandrum, now known as Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala and is well connected to the rest of the cities in India by a good air, rail and road network.
