Kasturi means the abode of Mask Deer, found in the high altitude in sikkim. It is said that the Mask Deer does not know about the valuable abode that is carries in its belly.
Hotel Kasturi started its full service on the Navami of Ram auspicious occasion on the 9th April 1995 under the sole proprietorship of Sri Kishore Gazmer.So far the location of Hotel Kasturi is concerned it is situated in the middle of the State Capital, Gangtok.
Hotel Kasturi is surrounded by Sikkim Nationalised Bus Terminus, STNM Hospital, General Post Office, State Bank Of Sikkim and other Nationalised Bank along with Public Call Office, and Shapiro Centers. Hotel Kasturi stands in front of Local Taxi Stand, known as Ranka Stand on Palzor Stadium Road, Gangtok.

Hur - Huray Para (Nam-Nang) Situated opposite the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, one can have a very good walk from Nam Nang view point to Sikkim Press. The Visitors can also experience the breathtaking view of dense forest and the lush green -valley. A Serene area to relish, an ideal nature walk.
Flower Complex Flower exhibitions are organised round the year at the Flower Show venue near the White Memorial Hall complex, Gangtok. Orchid show held during the spring season is one of the most popular shows organised in the State.
Banjhakri Falls Located en-route to Ranka and 4 kms from Gangtok, Ban Jhakri Falls Energy Park lies amidst a lush green valley spread over 2 acres. It is surrounded by trees and gushing mountain stream .The park has a Shamamstic theme. Hence, while the location of the park penetrating the forest spreads and seeks to enhance the essence of the occult and the unknown. The place itself is littered with ethnic sculptures and figurines of the Jhakri culture.
