Eravikulam National Park –
It is situated along the crest of the Western Ghats in the High Ranges (Kanan Devan Hills) The 97 sq.km park is comprised of Shola-Grassland eco system, at an average elevation of 2000 meters.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary-
The 90 sq km sanctuary is located in the eastern part of high ranges of Idukki dist: of Kerala state. It is regarded as one of the uniquely protected areas in the whole of the Western Ghats, due to its ecological, floral, geomorphological and cultural significance.
Mathikettan Shola National Park –
Mathikettan is part of the cardamom hill reserve in the Western Ghats. The park falls in Idukki dist: in Udumbanchola taluk with an extent of 12.81sqkm.
Pambadum Shola national Park –
Pambadum Shola National Park is located in the eastern part of the southern western ghats of Kerala. This shola lies on the way to Vattavada near Top station about 35 kms from munnar town.
