Safari : Wildlife safari timing in bandhavgarh national park is just like most parks in the country. Timings for entry into, and exit from, the park vary according to the season. In winters, due to the shorter duration of daylight hours, the morning entry time is later and evening exit time is earlier.

How To Reach :

Train : The nearest railway station is Umaria (35km).
Train from Delhi to Umaria : Utkal Express Train from Varanasi: Sarnath Express.
Bus : Buses ply from Umaria, Tala and Satna. Jeeps can be hired from Tala (3hrs) and from Umaria (2hrs, Rs 10 per seat).
Reaching Bandhavgarh may be bit more difficult than it is for some of the other parks in the country but once you are there, you always feel it was worth the effort. For those coming in from Delhi, there is a direct train to the nearest railway station, Umaria. The name of the train is the Utkal Express.
