CLIMATE – DALHOUSIE Dalhousie enjoys a salubrious climate and the invigorating deodhar scented air. Summer season in Dalhousie lasts from April to mid-July, when the temperature is moderate, sunshine crisp and it is generally pleasant and cool and is the most popular season as guests come to escape the unbearable heat in the plains. The magical monsoons typically last from mid July to late August and bring lush green meadows, fresh water streams/mountain springs and you can experience clouds moving in and out at close quarters, often through the resort also. The mountains appear clean, dazzling and breathtakingly beautiful. Dalhousie experiences heavy snowfall during winters (end December to February/March) and is a great time for family fun in the snow – in and around the resort.
